I'm just a simple girl, in a high tech digital world.


It is here where you'll find that I post my own photos, photos I find inspiring or just simply like. And maybe if you're lucky, sometimes I'll write something. Its rare. But it does happen.

The photos I post that are my own, are shot with either a Canon 350D SLR, or a Nikon D90. They're my most prized possessions. My work is copyrighted, and I'd really love you if you didn't reblog or copy/paste without crediting me. If you do, there will be trouble. You'll have one of those zombie freaks come to your house and kill you or something. I'm serious. It will happen, exactly 3 hours, 34 minutes and 17 seconds after you take a photo of mine without crediting it. Don't say you haven't been warned!

I'm Lu. 18 and a passionate photographer.
Wollongong, NSW is my hometown, but I now live in Brisbane.
Photography is my life. "TransLUCEnt Photography" emerged in late 2007, but I have been taking photos as a hobby since I was a kid. I have captured moments of my present, and these memories I can now pictorially reflect as my past.These days, I take my cameras basically everywhere I go. I shoot gigs mainly, but I also love scenery, landscape and nature photography.

I have work published in Australian Geographic magazine, Dmag, and Overlander 4wd magazine. Sticks Clothing Co. have also used my photos and I regularly shoot for Fasterlouder.com

I've also worked as a photographer at SFX Nightclub in Sydney, and currently work as a photographer for Getanightlife.com in Brisbane. Look out for me at any pub, club or bar in Brisbane...I may be there hiding behind my camera snapping you having a good time!
